I can see how the writing has lead you to that conclusion. Jose Rodriguez-Carrasco and his Oregon plated truck had been on the BOLO list from local facebookers after he followed at least two women to their homes (where he was chased off by others.) It is also possible he was involved in following a group of teens as well up in Biggs.

If I get in an accident on the roadway, I typically pull over to exchange insurance information. Considering that other facebookers who had traveled the road during the incident reported a man running at cars with what was described as a crow bar (guess it was a bat) as well as the stalking people to their homes, I'm going to bet that he was responsible for the accident as well.

But that's not what the news site wrote, so I'm sure that there’ll be a difference of opinion. I'm thinking the first victim was murdered by a crazy guy.

I would support your view, and I am skeptical that this was a mutual road rage incident.

I would suspect that Jose Rodriguez-Carrasco was driving recklessly and may have caused the accident. Possibly he was a violent criminal and had no intention of exchanging information with the other driver, and he had no intention of waiting for the police to arrive. It might be possible that the other driver was angry, and it is possible that he could have been angry enough to fight, but regardless of his reaction, he ended up being a homicide victim. Jose Rodriguez-Carrasco may have been trying to leave the area when he was struck.
