Our President continues to be several chess moves ahead of the fake news, as they play checkers against him.
Trump truly is brilliant, and from the beginning his slogan, MAGA, proved it. With that slogan, the libs had 2 choices. They could either say (as they did a couple of times at first), that America is already great. However, then they remembered they can’t say that, because their main theme is America is horrible - racist, sexist, etc.
The other option is to agree that American should be made great again, but that would mean that their Messiah Obama had not been the miracle worker they claim he was.
MAGA was the perfect slogan to put the libs in a no-win situation.
He isn't as eloquent as POTUS Reagan was, but when he says something like this he is a Shakespeare II.

And Donald Trump proves over and over again pretty much how most us underestimate his brilliance ... each time he does something brilliant, e.g., super-charging the economy BEFORE embarking on his tariff strategy to force truly fair trade with our trading partners, I revise my estimate of his brilliance upwards a notch ... but no matter how high I make that estimate I’m always having to revise it upwards again and again and again as subsequent actions by our President demand such increases ....

OTOH, it really does seem like President Trump and/or some of his advisors study places like Free Republic and replicate our phraseology ... perhaps some of what we write helps to solidify inchoate leanings ... Or then again maybe he is simply our perfect leader because he’s one us ...
