Yeah? Cool. My money talks to me. It’s always saying “Goodbye!’’
Which is like 13 tickets. :D
He needs to wear a cape, Edna!!!
I never liked his pompous d-bag Shitck.
Now this clown can’t even leave his house...
Back in 1983 i worked at showcase Cinemas in Dedham, MA as a 15 yr old for something like 1.75/hr....thanks Sumner!
I saw the movie 48hrs like 300 times to stay warm from the freezing cold parking lot.
since then i’ve probably been to a theater 5 times.
F hollywood
Those numbers are so low that I will bet most of them are mistakes. (Meant for the theater next to this one.)
That's per weekend, opening weekend. And multiple showings each day. Maybe 1 person per showing? That's a real money loser!
I haven’t been in a movie theater since 1972, when I sneaked off the grounds of the Naval Academy to go downtown to watch “2001: A Space Odyssey”.
So you “went over the wall”, eh? :)
I haven’t been to a movie theater in 15 years. Before that it was at least five. I can’t even remember what the movies were. I just made a decision that I wasn’t going to support Hollywood commies and pay through the nose for popcorn and a drink.
Wasn’t there a tv-movie or miniseries of this in the 1980s? I know I’ve seen it, and I wasn’t one of the handful who saw it this weekend.
So even the pedophiles aren’t going to the movie.

Here it is, a tv-movie from November, 1987. It starred Judd Nelson. I was in college then.
Might have been around 1990. He played “Mel Profitt,” a hugely wealthy criminal psychopath, who had an implied incestuous relationship with his sister.
His TV “sister” was quite attractive, and she did a total frontal nude black-and-white photo for Playboy, standing on a hill top in Los Angeles, which is permanently burned into my memory.
I really enjoyed Spacey in Wiseguy, Usual Suspects, and LA Confidential.
Strange how some people get totally destroyed for their sins, and others, like Roman Polanski, get standing ovations from their peers.
Don’t think I would have appeared in any movie with “...boys...” in the title after experiencing the kind of trouble he has.....
Low budget movie that’s been on VOD for a month. Not exactly a license to print money.
“Wiseguy” was a good series for a while. The “Mel Profitt” story arc was good, and there was another (1989, says IMDB) about the music business, with Tim Curry in several episodes.
A cashier pocketed it.
