Trump has pride for our nation.
Obama only had pride for himself.
In that photo, it’s easy to imagine Obama being so proud just to be walking with a world leader. It didn’t matter to him he had just bowed to the the man, figuratively showing subservience on behalf of our nation.
It’s one thing to bow with respect, but another to bow very low, subjugating one’s self and the entity he represented to the person he bowed to.
Obama always thought he was on the cutting edge of international relations. If being led by the hand like a child could do that, I suppose he was.
In the past 8 months or so, due to the “trade war talk”, the Chinese stock market has fallen about 18%... that is right - it has lost 1/6th of it’s value. The Chinese currency has fallen by about 7 to 9% against the US Dollar.
Who is winning this trade war?
Xi WILL lose face, big time, if he does work toward an “armistice”, very soon, to alleviate his damages.
