Like the thing I see in my area all the time.
A young black male, aged 13-20, walking around in the middle of July with a backpack.
Hello, school is OUT, it’s the middle of JULY!
The backpack is surely full of drugs and he’s a courier.
But if I call the cops and say that I’ll be branded a racist. God forbid a cop actually stop him and inquire about the backpack.

and the Yale student who reported a fellow student for napping could be charged and prosecuted
Is there another definition for napping other than sleeping during the day that I dont know about?
Why would someone call the police to report someone taking a nap?

Well, there’s something you can do to stop the perception that a certain race is responsible for a disproportionate amount of violent crime. Stop committing the damned crime!

Why do you always jump to drugs when you think of black teenagers?

Unintended or intended consequences: Don’t call the police. See nothing or take care of business yourself. More dissolution of society and empowering violent, minority, subcultures.

Victor Stevenson - a black man who owns a San Francisco lemonade business called Gourmnade - was standing outside his shop last June before business hours, on the phone with his security company when four police officers approached him. Turns out, someone who thought Stevenson was breaking into the business had called the police. The caller thought so on what grounds - that Stevenson was standing outside the shop? Frankly, I don't see an explanation for the call other than 'black=suspicious'.

Why do you always jump to drugs when you think of black teenagers?
Cause this is in parts of town where heroin overdoses are through the roof?
Because if I were a drug dealer I'd use this tactic knowing that no cop would stop my courier out of fear of being called a racist?

The entire “The Cambridge police acted stupidly” brouhaha was caused by this very thing——a neighbor called the police—on a black man.

Here the backpack is not drugs. It’s stuffed with things stolen from houses or cars. And the favorite mode of transportation is a bicycle. The old stingray kind. Easy on/off and easy to maneuver. If you see someone in the neighborhood riding a bike with a backpack you have to watch them. They’re looking for something to steal.

I think one working definition these days of “racist/racism” is along the lines of ‘would you call the police in a white person doing the same exact thing”. If the answer is ‘no’ where it would be ‘yes’ if the person were black, you are, by some definitions, ‘racist’.

I don't watch NFL football but it seems the entire bench of some teams needs to evaluate the "chip" on their shoulders when they are kneeling during our national anthem.
What are these millionaire players protesting about? Most probably don't know but just have a chip on their shoulders over having to live and work in a "whitey" world.
Let me give you guys a clue. Try moving in some other country that doesn't have the "racial" problems you think America has.
You'll find out soon enough why so many people from around the globe are clamoring to move to America and become citizens.
Because it doesn't get any better than it does in America.

If memory serves, it is because the female student had extremely short hair and looked like a man napping in the student area of a womens college.

The reason IS white people actually read the news...at least some of them.
Instead of blaming whites how about looking at your own culture for once...

This is one of my favorite things going on right now. It’s the clash of the nanny state against black lives matter. Awesome!
