I thought I read years ago that supposedly “depleted” Oil Fields were refilling (for lack of a better word) and were being used again.

Of course, Fracking has been responsible for reaching Oil Reserves thought out of reach.

Yes. We are going deeper or using new processes to free up known oil. AND, some fields are refilling.

I believe it was thomas gold that first publicly made the argument that petrolium is not fossil based but, in fact, is manufactured by the earth on an ongoing basis. It’s called abiogenic.
