How many times have we been told we passed peak oil only to find billions more untapped resources? And Alaska’s North Slope was supposed to run out years ago. I’m not saying that the supply in inexhaustible and that quick-charging electric vehicles shouldn’t be developed, but we won’t run out in the next 30 years.

Someone will eventually sort out Venezuela. There are low sulfur tar sands which have extra heavy oil that will flow at modest temperatures. Over 2 trillion bbl of which PDVSA perhaps has the ability to extract 300 billion.
