The boy friend was 100 miles away, at work, with witnesses, and passed a lie detector test. Doesn't sound like he's the perp.

Statistically speaking the boyfriend is likely.

In this case, he may very well have had nothing to do with it and has his whereabouts elsewhere at the time accounted for.

Good for him.

This case is a strange one for sure. I have been in that area (Grinnell) and it is essentially the middle of nowhere. You can be on a deserted road in minutes.

People keep saying 100 miles like it's a given that he couldn't have done it. Were people with him 24/7? 100 miles about a 3-hour round trip at highway speeds.
