Are those regular bolivars or strong bolivars or sovereign bolivars?
I wonder what they will call them the next time they have to lop 5 zeroes off the value? Superduper bolivars?

Well, insects are good protein, and termites will eat paper... start a termite farm!

You’ll be happy to know The Guardian is blaming Trump.
Even their readership wasn’t buying it!

Should be made into a poster and brought to every Cortez and Sander’s rally.

Do they save up the money, and then find a Chicken, or do they find the Chicken, and then save up the money? What’s the interest rate on Chicken loans?

I bet you could have bought 10 chickens for a roll of toilet paper.
I'd rather have the chickens. If there is nothing to eat the toilet paper would be useless anyway.

I was daydreaming a little while ago and thought that it would be useful to fly to Caracas with an extra bag, filled with high-end toilet paper. When I arrive at the hotel, I hand over an 8-pack and announce that I’ll be staying for the week. The extra roll is a tip for the desk clerk, which he eagerly accepts.
Now I just have to dream up a reason to fly to Venezuela.

This thread brings up a question that has been bugging me — not the high cost of the chicken but rather the high cost and limited availability of toilet paper. I genuinely don’t understand the problem with so much cash being needed to buy toilet paper.
I mean, think about it. Put a few rolls of toilet paper in front of a stack of ... worthless paper. Seriously, is the currency uncomfortable? Does it scratch, or is it too slick to use for wiping your butt? Will it clog toilets? Does anyone here have some bolivars on hand to test?
