In an Orwellian nightmare, Eren Erdem, a former MP, journalist and the author of 9 books, who has courageously dedicated his career to exposing and condemning terrorist organizations, is now being accused of "aiding terrorists". The real terrorists he has condemned, however, remain free.
Erdem is paying the price for telling the truth in Turkey. He has risked his life to stop ISIS and help save lives. Now is the time for human rights activists and the media to defend him.
"Where are the police forces? I identified 10.000 addresses [of ISIS members] in these documents of investigations conducted by prosecutors and judges.... Why are these men not in jail?" — Eren Erdem.
"If the commission we proposed were established, we would crush all of the ISIS cells across in Turkey in a few months. There would be no cell left. Because we know the addresses of these cells. We learn them from the police... We also learn from the investigations by police that ISIS members get organized in Istanbul through a magazine called 'The Islamic World'. But there has been no police operation against them. This is not neglect. This is cooperation [with ISIS]." — Eren Erdem.
How does Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan fight his political opponents, including those who have been working hard to expose the atrocities of the Islamic state terror group, ISIS? By throwing them into jail for allegedly "supporting terrorism."

CHP (Kemalist) Party MP, Eren Erdem was stopped at the Istanbul airport with his family on May 21 and his passport was seized.
When the CHP failed to nominate Erdem for MP on for June 24 elections, he lost his parliamentary seat and his immunity.
He was arrested in Istanbul on June 26th.
The Truth must NOT be expressed in Turkey.
Erdogan and Turkey supported and aided ISIS. Recruits, supplies and funds passed through the Turkish border into Raqqa and other parts of ISIS controlled Syria. The oil ISIS stole was marketed in Turkey. Erdogan no doubt personally took his cut. If Trump really wants to hurt him find and confiscate or freeze his hidden Swiss and other off shore hidden accounts.
Erdogan supported Jihadi’s in Syria prior to the rapid formation of ISIS. So did Obama.
They both ran weapons into Syria, from those supplied to those overthrowing Muammar Gaddafi. Hence those that were in the annex near the mission in Benghazi.
Even Assad bought illegal oil form ISIS at some point.
Erdogan is a truly evil Islamist Dictator who employed 3,000 ISIS members and more al Qaeda Terrorists to take over Efrin (Afrin).
Until very recently Erdogan was afraid of acting against the CHP (Kemalists). He feared them. They had power in Turkey since the formation of Turkey, until Erdogan came to power. He used the Faux Coup to neuter the Kemalists. This outspoken CHP MP is correct about the Islamists.
This will end badly for Turkey and the region.
The US should file a formal complain with the UN’s Human Rights Commission/er and the International Criminal Court (at the Hague?), accusing Erdogan of “war crimes” by preventing the apprehension of wanted ISIS war criminals.
Let’s see how that would sit with the mental case who is a human Turkey.
And they should add the names of David Cameron and Barack Hussein Obama to that complaint.
