My Reagan.com email service has been inaccessible all day, today. “429 error.” Wonder why...

I’ve posted several comments from my Facebook account in the comments sections of on line articles only to find they were considered spam. I was offered the opportunity to verify they weren’t spam and I did so and was acknowledged by FB. However, the comments were never reinstated on the respective articles.........

BS.
Social media only has power because not enough people tell them to eff themselves.
It’s not shouting at the clouds..it’s speaking truth.

AOL has been filtering most of my conservative emails to the spam folder for most of the last 6 months. I can’t say I miss them, I never signed up for them to begin with only donated a few bucks.

Social media only has power because not enough people tell them to eff themselves.

People aren't telling social media to eff themselves because most people aren't particularly outraged by what they're doing. They aren't outraged because most aren't strongly invested in politics. Because they're not strongly political, they don't notice that one side of the debate is largely getting shut out. They only hear the other side and as such, think that this side is the conventional mainstream point of view.

Geriatric FReepers yelling at clouds think that the answer is to stay away from social media. Guess what? So does social media! Facebook and Twitter would be perfectly happy if you stayed away! They don't want you (or I) around subtly inserting conservative talking points and ideas into Facebook feeds dominated by less politically-minded Americans posting barbecue recipes, pics of their kids, and memes about cats and sports teams.

They're trying to shut us out because we effectively used their sites to win elections. And people here think the answer to this is to delete our Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Absolute idiocy.

Om..so would you say that they should be forced to allow all voices? To me, if you do not do that there is no reason for googbooktwits to do a dang thing differently.
