>>“the numbers of adolescents seeking care for gender dysphoria has increased dramatically.”

>Maybe the cause is that government schools teach kids that it’s normal and to be expected?

government indoctrination centers at the CDC and schools tell them that it is preferable, exceptional, and to be celebrated

But if you are transracial you are guilty of appropriation and parody.

Rapid onset gender dysphoria is when a guy's girl friend convinces him to become a Democrat and, when he relents, he instantly turns into a P-——

Wow.

Up until now my pet has been observed to be a cat, but maybe she's really an elk?

Rapid indicates something such as a rape or abuse suddenly caused it. Apples and oranges. Not valid.

// Right! It’s a trend like falling in love with a Monkee circa 1968. A sick trend but a trend nonetheless.

>> With this sick modern attitude, doctors would have told Karen Carpenter: “You’re right, you do look fat!” //

Exactly. You perfectly capture the travesty & harm being done to impressionable (stubborn!) adolescents, even now toddlers. Mass hysteria, transtrenders.

Best news I have heard in a long time. There is now some research into this cultural wave.

Have been watching this with a close family member for 6 years now, with no ability to intervene because of political correctness, and the threat of the state Human Rights Tribunal.

This is the McMaster Fiasco for this generation.

So relieved that someone is doing research and actually talking about it.

The first symptom is being born to idiotic, spineless parents.

________________

Actually it is seen in all sorts of good parent’s homes.

You underestimate the power of culture over parents.

And do you want me to give you the number of HOMESCHOOLED children who I know who have or are going through this phenomenon?

Many.

The culture is like the air, everywhere.

Just like during WWI British parents could not keep their sons from signing up to die in the trenches of France parents today are trapped and unable to influence their children away from a death lifestyle.

You impute more control than parents really have.

Has little to nothing to do with the parents when at the adolescent state onset.

The child onset is definitely a Munchhausen by proxy and I have long advocated this.

However the adolescent onset is more of a cultural artifact combined with IMHO the normative neuro-pruning of the adolescent brain.

Tragic for many

That is certainly true-and parents who encourage-or even tolerate such emotionally unhealthy behavior in an adolescent are enablers-they still need psychotherapy, in my opinion-I also wouldn’t mind seeing their kids removed from them until/unless they do seek therapy.

When my cub was school age, homeschooling had not really gotten into the mainstream yet-but hubby got a second job so we could pay for her to go to Catholic school-it was worth it...

Tolerating such behavior in ones child is something that parents have no choice about anymore. The courts will remove the child. Four of the trans I know of were in Catholic school.

this is not a blame the parent situation.

There isn’t a psychotherapist in the country who would go against the received wisdom because they would lose their livelihoods and licenses and then be sued by their state Human Rights Tribunals and lose.

The world in cities and blue states is such that if I lived there, and couldn’t leave, I would chose not to get pregnant and bring an innocent soul into such a corrupted place. When I was a case manager working in the city, it was already getting insane-I even had LGBT-XYZ clients demanding workers comp for self-sustained injuries they were supposedly driven to by workplace discrimination-I left in 2003-changed professions completely...

I am fortunate enough to live in rural Texas, so I suppose I live in a microcosm of sorts-unlike in cities such as Austin and Houston parents out here still consider it their right to guard their cubs from toxic outside influence-it is one of the reasons they live here, many sacrificing a higher-paying job in a city for a career as an independent long haul truck driver, construction contractor or other home based business owner.

As of 2014, around 50% of male HS grads here joined the Army or Air Force, with 31% of the females doing so.

Small towns still have psychotherapists who advertise Christian therapy-oh, the horror! More than half the school-age kids here are either in the small Christian school nearby or are homeschooled-the school bus no longer picks up kids on 3 of the 5 roads in this acreage subdivision-there aren’t any liberals left out here that I know of-the last two moved to the city when pres Trump was elected-and there is no organized democrat party in this county, either

This is about girls who reach puberty and start thinking they are boys.

So maybe they aren't getting enough soy.
