RIP John McCain. Prayers up.
Any idea if The Douche has appointed a replacement yet?
To: Kaslin
Rest in Peace, Maverick.

Ducey won’t appoint anybody until after Tuesday’s primary election.

For the next month all we will hear and see in the media is what a great American he was... Maybe while he was on active duty, but IMHO not while he was in an elected office.
To: Kaslin
He can say hi to Ted Kennedy now.

If he doesn’t I’m definitely voting against him. And if he makes a bad choice and a certain McCandidate wins the primary for The Flake’s seat I may have something more important to do on the first Tuesday in November than schlepping down to the polls.

They both died on the same day 9 years apart. They’re sharing a bunk now.

The man served his country honorably. He was a POW. I give him the respect he's earned for that.
Rest in Peace, Senator.

So, whoever loses the primary contest to fill Jeff Flake’s seat, should be appointed to fill the remainder of McCain’s term?
Sort of a win-semi win.
But of course, no such thing will happen. Some really emotional and ego-driven act, like appointing McCain’s wife Cindy, will be the “right thing” to do, and the same kind of paralysis will continue to operate at the Arizona state and Federal level.
