I have used startpage for years, but they use the google engine. Naked google searches are now very limited.

I downloaded “Brave”, and so far, I’m extremely happy with it. No ads, no pop-ups. And, it seems to be much faster than Explorer.

The only think I would change, if I could, is to make the labels on the tabs and menu in bold type.

Also, on Youtube videos, the “full screen” function doesn’t work, but the “cinema” view does ok.

Thanks for steering me to “Brave”. I’ve still got to import all my bookmarks, but I like to take things slow, and methodically. I’ll most likely make it my default browser.

Thanks again.

People here promoted PaleMoon as a browser for years. On Android use DuckDuckGo privacy browser switching from Dolphin and Chrome. DuckDuckGo is the best search engine out there. Others have issues. Ixquick ended as it is now Startpage. What happened was Ixquick had no Google search results but Startpage did. Startpage is ok but it uses Google. So at one time both existed but in May Ixquick ended and redirects to Startpage. Maybe a Webcrawler is better for results but not a privacy engine.

As far as email Yandex is not working well. Maybe Juno will. So using gmail. Both free email sites Yahoo and Google steal data and privacy. So looking for alternatives. Yandex is not recieving emails.
