PLEASE tell me NO FReepers go to movies anymore.
And if they, they PROPERLY VET the film first.
Yes, there are good ones made.
The one coming about the soldier’s redemption through Billy Graham comes to mind.
Fault Angelina Jolet for ignoring that part but credit to her for getting the ball rolling and not holding back in the depiction of Japanese cruelty during WWII.
Though she kind of gave that impression that it was the exception rather than the rule.
Not so. But still...

Not watching it, nor will my kids. This is nothing more than anti-American propaganda. America is great and exceptional because of what we have accomplished, burying it is anti-American. My kids, everyone, even Canadian actors, should know, respect, and honor that it was the United States that sent the first man to the moon. My only regret is that we wimped out and (1) did not claim the moon for ourselves and (2) we stopped going. (I’ll bet you China and India will do this differently and if we are not there, we’ll lose the moon, it’ll be fenced of so-to-speak by those that do go, do stay.)
Movie about Neil Armstrong won’t be seeing any of my dollars planted in their coffers.
I will vote with my dollars and NOT pay to see this propaganda piece.
Look who’s producing and distributing the film.
Nuff said.
The incredible part is they did this and let Gosling run his mouth costing them millions. My explanations? Liberals - and China.
I would love to see a nice film about Neil Armstrong, one of my heroes as a young Airman.
I have no plans to see this one.
.
I will pass.
Aonher communist POS I won’t be seeing!!!
Dear Hollyweird, to make the decision to deliberately omit even a momentary glimpse of YOUR COUNTRY’s national emblem, and thus denigrate the explicit sacrifices that thousands of your fellow countrymen and women made and the US Tax Dollars that paid for that effort says volumes about YOUR politics and views.
I had every intention, as a LONG-TIME space aficionado, to see this movie at the very first day. Ah well, maybe on commercial TV much later!
Can we deport him back to Canada?
I haven’t gone to the movies since the last Harry Potter (yeah, I know). In fact, haven’t been to the movies for anything but HP since the first episode. Hubby would get free tickets but there was nothing worth seeing for me so he’d take a friend to see their military or action stuff. Even with free tickets, he eventually gave them up as it’s just a waste of time.
Their commitment to remove achievement from who it is due is a clear indication that the entire plot is dreck. This is pass over in the Walmart bin materiel.
