Remember what they did to Nunes for merely being accused of leaking. He was removed from his comity for six months while they investigated. He was found not guilty.

That's because Republicans have a party rule that anybody in leadership must step down from their leadership role if they are under investigation.
Democrats have no such rule for their party. This is why people like Tom Delay were indicted on bogus charges, in order to use Republican rules against them.
