Donald Trump’s historic decision to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem was “unnecessary” and a “provocation” that has “incited more violence,” charged Andrew Gillum, the progressive mayor of Tallahassee who recently won Florida’s Democratic gubernatorial nomination.
Gillum’s remarks come despite the overwhelming bipartisan majority in both the House and Senate that voted for the passage of the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act, which called on Israel to relocate its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The act was reaffirmed in a unanimous Senate vote last year.
The remarks provide a window into Gillum’s thinking on the Middle East in a race where Israel policy could become an issue. Gillum, whose views on Israel are largely unknown, is running against staunch Israel supporter Ron DeSantis.

This a-hole is running for governor of Florida. Foreign policy expertise is not really required. By stating his opinion of the embassy decision, just whose votes is he trying to court? Certainly not elderly Jewish retirees in South Florida...
Or should I say, he shouldn’t monkey around on foreign policy issues?!
The northeasterners haven’t quite taken over Florida yet. I think most Floridians like the fact there is no state income tax there. Rest assured if they vote for this socialist clown they will end up getting one to pay for all the crap that he and the Democrats want.

Gillum is just another stupid lefty. After the move, hardly anything changed. All the fear that the Palestenians would go to war was no different than any other day. I do hope Floridians are smart enough not to elect this socialist, ignorant — they’ll regret it if they do.
