When Booker was mayor of Newark he came home and saw a neighbor's home on fire. No fire trucks on scene yet. He ran into the building (with his security guards, to be fair) and saved a woman. Still, he ran into a burning house, guards or not.

I thought at the time that with that sort of courage he could become a national political figure. And he did. But as a mere court jester at this point, a fool who says foolish things boldly.

Knowing how his kind operate, have you considered he may have had his guards start the fire in the first place, to stage his “heroic act”?
