Father God,
Blessed are You, Lord, for You have sustained our nation and have shown great mercy toward us. Blessed are You for restoring us and for healing our wounds. This week we remember the heroes of September 11th, 2001---those brave men and women who sacrificed their own safety and comfort---even their own lives to help others in a time of great need in this nation. We remember them, Lord, and salute them as their spirit of love, devotion, and heroism lives on. Thank You for each one of them, Father, and may Your blessings and peace be upon their families and households.
Lord, we confess that in all the darkness of that day and the many days that have followed, You have not failed us. You remain our Strength, our Rock, our Fortress, and our Deliverer. You are the One Whom we trust. You are our High Tower and our Sure Defense. Surely You are forever worthy of honor and praise. During this time of continuing world tensions and self-inflicted internal unrest, You ease our fears. You save us from our enemies. We are grateful for You Lord, for You are ever on Your Throne. You neither slumber nor sleep, and are faithful to help us.
Today we pray for Your strength for President Trump---a man chosen to lead at such a time as this. Be his High Tower, Lord, and save him from his enemies who are unprincipled, clanging cymbals. Help our President to walk in a manner worthy of You, Lord, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in his knowledge of You. We ask You to anoint him with the gift of discernment so that he may recognize and avoid evil traps set by those who are enemies of America.
Grant strength to our military, Lord. Involve them in building the wall according to Your will. Silence the voices that seek to shame Americans for wanting to guard their borders, protect their jobs and families. Lord, let Your truth prevail.
Father, we ask that You give our leaders the wisdom they need to make the decisions You want them to make. We pray for peace, Lord, and an end to the insufferable political correctness that suffocates and paralyzes our nation. Help us, Lord and keep us steadfast in our trust in You. Enable us to carry Your banner of grace, truth, and hope wherever we go. We need You every hour, Most Precious Lord. We ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lord, thank you for the many blessings you have bestowed on our Nation, not the least in our great new President and his faithful staff. we are truly a chosen people, a favored people. Lord, i ask that you increase my faith as we approach this critical election. help me to raise my game, to spend my small resources and time in the time remaining in such a way as to advance Your cause and ours as a nation under You. HOLY FATHER, in our our of need we call Your Name, please help us if it be Your Will to see this nation once again on the right path, the one path lighted by Your Truth and Wisdom. Our president and his administration need Your wisdom and Your help in order to do what is right for America and her peoples.
