Yes to the first part, and no to the second part. Discrimination is actually legal unless the “victim” was discriminated against due to his membership in a protected class.

“Occupation” isn’t a protected class, so it is not a civil rights violation to discriminate against cops (or plumbers, or college professors, etc.).

The fact if the matter is that we’ve instituted a class based society and that MUST NOT stand.

Either ALL discrimination is legal or it is - regardless of any clarification.

As it is we’ve allowed black people to have MORE rights than other minorities and GAYS to have even more rights than minorities.

So it’s oerfectly legal to NOT bake a cake for police or even serve them but you must serve gay people.

It won’t work - it doesn’t work because the government is approving discrimination on other groups.

The civil rights laws MUST be rescinded.
