"""He said two witnesses reported hearing a ruckus. “Both heard a knock or pounding… They heard pounding followed by a female voice saying open up, let me in, not a command by an officer,” he explained. Then he said they heard gunshots, followed by a male voice saying, “oh my God, why did you do that!”"""

If the witnesses who heard the pounding on the door and a female yelling "let me in" are credible, then this Dallas cop may face Capital Murder charges.

One relationship between the Dallas Cop and the dead person that is irrefutable is that he lived in the apartment directly above her.

Was he making noise and she went to his apartment in an angry mood?

Manslaughter is the least of the Dallas cop's worries at this point.

Wait...

"Amber Guyger lived one floor directly above Jean’s door."

“...she was his immediate downstairs neighbor,”

There's literally no point reading this article when I can't make it past the first line.

If that did happen, then I agree with you.

On the other hand, in the Ferguson, MO shooting, you had witnesses saying that Mark Brown had his hands up and was saying don’t shoot. That was debunked by the official investigation, but you still have people repeating that falsehood to this day.

When its a White cop and a Black victim, people’s memories start to fit their bias.

“Amber Guyger lived one floor directly above Jean’s door.”

“The only connection we have been able to make is that she was his immediate downstairs neighbor,” family

Good catch. Not sure who made the error but “The Associated Press contributed to this report.”

Merritt described Jean as a meticulous accountant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers,

Accountants who get noise complaints? That certainly does not fit the stereotype.

Incessant noise from an upstairs neighbor?

Justifiable homicide. Without a doubt.

Do we know anything about this apartment complex? Is it a predominant black complex? If so, then the Black Lives Matter folks may be willing to perjure.

Merritt described Jean as a meticulous accountant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, “somebody who is intentional in everything that they do. He doesn’t prop doors open when they’re expecting guests. He wasn’t expecting any guests,” he told CNN.

Check out this sentence.

Amber may find that it’s a bit more difficult to file a noise complaint in the state prison.

he told CNN.

I would wait for the trial before drawing any conclusions. Mind you, I think the female cop is a dolt and probably trigger-happy since she was apparently involved in another shooting. But this attorney immediately ran to CNN, not exactly the finest of media outlets as we've seen over the past couple of years.

It’s either a failed ebonics translation, or a complete facepalm, or both.

Different cultures have different ideas on what constitutes "loud" and "noise". Mix the cultures and there will be conflicts.

And if this deranged female wasn’t wearing a Magic Blue Costume, she would be in the Lockup without bail facing 25 to LIFE for this Deadly Armed Home Invasion

“Different cultures have different ideas on what constitutes “loud” and “noise”. Mix the cultures and there will be conflicts.”

In no culture do you enter into a person’s home uninvited and kill them for making too much noise.

But. I matter how much noise there was, it will pale in comparison to the noise at night in prison.

= = = = = = = = = =

Typical of your typical ambulance chaser.

Naturally one would go to the outlet that will give YOU the biggest bang for the buck and a WHITE cop shooting a BLACK neighbor while the BLACK was in his own home and cop not on duty.

That alone could lead for days and then one’s point is definitely entrenched in the minds of ‘all’.

It depends. if the cop works evening or overnight shifts, and is trying to sleep when the upstairs neighbor is moving around his own apartment and maybe watching TV, and the cop decides that she deserves total silence, I could easily see her filing noise complaints, if only to lay groundwork for escalated complaints to the apt management later.

Having lived in apartments, I have found that depending on construction even normal TV volume can seem unusually loud to someone in a neighboring unit.

I have also met accountants who like to cut loose after work specifically *because* their work requires strait-laced mental focus and control.

.

Unbelievable reporting-——did she live over him or under him?
