Deploy the army to the border. Declare all illegal immigrants to be peremptorily suspected of narco terrorism and drug running.
Summary transport across the border with no consideration for their circumstances or claims. Being sent away is the only process we owe then.
Unless they are found to be carrying drugs, in which case military tribunals and all that ... no appeal to civilian courts.
For illegal aliens already past the border who commit crimes use their status as basis for increasing the severity of any crime they are charged with on the basis that they are committing one crime during the commission of another.
Also, deport illegal aliens with only the clothes on their backs. Seize all their assets in the United States.

Good ideas. I really like the deployment of the military to the border. How about this - whenever a member of our armed services decides to leave the military, they are offered a year long assignment at the border. Their compensation would be doubled and they would get a bonus that could be used for continuing education or job training (like the GI bill). The return on investment of preventing criminals from coming across the border is obvious.
