Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-California) released a statement about a letter that’s been in her possession since July that reportedly outlines allegations of attempted sexual assault by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh when he was in high school, unnamed sources familiar with the letter say.
She released a statement devoid of specifics about the content of that letter, and said the informant “has strongly requested confidentiality, declined to come forward or press the matter further.” Feinstein said she had passed it along to the FBI.
No one has verified the contents of the letter on the record and Feinstein has repeatedly refused to comment on its contents, citing her concerns about concealing the accuser’s identity. Thus she is accusing Kavanaugh of a crime without being willing to reveal what the crime is, the accuser, or any other details, all of which are required in U.S. courts of law to fairly seek justice.

The timing of the letter is suspicious. If serious and credible allegations against Kavanaugh were, in fact, made in the aforementioned letter, sitting on it for months before referring it to law enforcement is a nonsensical tactic. As The Wall Street Journal’s Kimberly Strassel pointed out in a series of tweets, Feinstein did not blow the whistle on the information until after Democrats had exhausted all other tactics to stall the nomination process.
Trump should tell Justice to not investigate. Give the rats more 35 year old ammunition.

Vote him in. This is a nothingburger. It didn’t happen because there is no witness. Come forward and tell your story and defend it.
Man, if everyone was held strictly accountable for what they did in high school, the streets would be empty.
Given the definition of sexual assault these days, I doubt that few if any men would not be “guilty” of the accusation from 30+ years ago in HIGH SCHOOL!

This is a type of smear that was used on Roy Moore.
It worked with Moore.
I guess they think this will work against Kavenaugh.
What is there to investigate?
It is written by a third hand account and the witness refused to be identify or come forward about an alleged even that happened about 35 years ago. This kind of hearsay is tossed in court, it is nothing.
I end up wishing that Fineswine had been in Mayor Moscone’s office when Dan White “came calling.” She has done inestimable damage to our country in the intervening years. And now I may be forced to vote for her because De Leon is an even bigger piece of sh*t and he’s forty years younger!
There is less to this story than the Anita Hill-Clarence Thomas thing. If anything, this is a ultimate lowest level of “He said, she said” that can be conjured up.
High school? Is this even serious and but a tale embellished over the years?

It wasn’t until now that I ever read that part of the constitution where if you’re not a leftist you can be auto-convicted of an unnamed crime with no evidence. I can’t believe we never studied that part. But there it is in black and white. Right?

The Sixth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees the right of someone accused of a crime to be confronted with witnesses against him. This right is usually termed as the confrontation clause. The purpose of this right is closely tied with the idea of being innocent until proven guilty.
Who cares what this corrupt organization does or does not investigate? Just an enormous waste of taxpayer money!
It could be the Dems know they lost on Kavanaugh, but this I a warning shot across the bow to any future Trump nominees. They will take the person over the coals, dig into every year of their lives, subject their family and friends to the same, and pull every dirty trick they can think of on the next nominee. It’s a way of threatening future Trump nominees.
