Hating to be cynical, but I’ll believe it when I see it.
But if they do, I’m buying a bottle of champagne.
I’ve become cynical about the whole mess as well, but, Assange has proven credible in the past and really has no incentive to make a promise like that if he can’t deliver.
He does, however, have plenty of reasons to cozy up to President Trump. There have been at least some back channel negotiations about bringing Assange to the US and granting him a pardon.
I’d buy a Case of Champagne!
