The Sunday Morning Bray, by Bray!
Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
James 3:13 KJV
What if Jeff Sessions is not sleeping and is doing what a good Attorney General should be doing and not politicizing the biggest scandal in the histoir of DC? Anyone who has been paying attention to the spying on Candidate Trump under false pretense, then rolling the scandal into a coup, then there are real crimes at the highest levels of gummit. What if there is actually an investigation being done inside the Justice Dept and it is not being directed by leaders of the JD like the last administration.
As frustrating as it is to watch what appears to be a sleeping leader, perhaps it is just an appearance of neglect when in reality he is making sure the case is being done properly and not damaging the case. It would make sense if this is what is happening since when this is laid out in front of the American people it is going to scrutinized and politicized more than any scandal since Monica Lewinski. The denials and personal attacks will be in full gear as well as magnified protecting the medias favorite stars which is where this coup investigation is heading.
What we do know is there is a Grand Jury listening to the evidence about the illegal spying on the Trump campaign by the FBI. If this is true and there was coordination with the CIA as well as the NSA then we are talking about the largest scandal evah. What we have are the most powerful agencies in the world were trying to influence the outcome of an election by destroying Trump. This make Nixon look like amateur hour compared to this junta.
It appears early in the Presidential campaign the FBI under Comey and his highest officials were upset with the idea of a populist candidate may have a chance of winning the Presidency. They were afraid of stopping the way things were done inside the agencies. These agencies are the real power brokers in the District of Corruption and the source of multi-million dollar contracts as people move in and out of the agencies.
In addition to the money machines these agencies have become, the Obama administration had formed them to become a private spy agency to intimidate their enemies. Once Candidate Trump became their bigest enemy they went into action and began to set up their smear campaign with the fake dossier. They used the fake dossier to have a judge issue a subpoena to spy on Carter Page and others inside the campaign giving them full access to the campaign as well as setting up a potential criminal investigation over anything they can find while spying on them.
Once he became President the coup was formed when this evolved into the Russian collusion investigation using investigators from the same FBI and CIA. All of this is highly illegal breaking the laws protecting citizens of illegal search and seizure. These are very serious crimes which those involved could face jail sentences. If this goes where many believe it is could shock the nation. No matter who is involved and if they are guilty of illegal searches on a candidate for President they need to have the book thrown at them.
There are criminals such as the mafia, but the worst form of criminal is a dirty cop. The FBI has always been considered the best of the best and now we are seeing just the opposite. If people inside the FBI or CIA are guilty of lying to a judge to get a subpoena using fraudulent evidence they need to go to jail for the maximum sentence. If this is true then they need to be punished to the maximum as a symbol to others thinking to use the same tactics against citizens under false pretenses next time.
If this investigation is going on it needs to be clean and thorough. It has to be done correctly since when the charges are made against these people such as Comey, they are going to have the most powerful lawyers and complete support of the media attacking the prosecutors. This investigation and trial needs to be air tight without the slightest question of doubt for the history books.
These charges, even though they are showing themselves to be very obvious with plenty of written and text evidence, it still needs to be ironclad. It takes time to gather this evidence as well as move up the structure of guilt which means the country has to have enough patience to let this investigation happen. As hard as it is to wait the evidence is growing and growing showing it getting higher and higher in the seats of power. If it goes all the way to the top then the entire establishment will go nuclear.
What if Jeff Sessions is not snoring and is actually letting the investigation occur without interference?
What if he is letting his investigators do a proper investigation and slowly but thoroughly going through the evidence and witnesses to build an ironclad case?
What if they are making it so they have a very clear picture of what was happening inside the halls of power and forming a hierarchy of who was guilty of what and giving them no escape no matter what the defense says and does will be found guilty of their crimes? This is too big to not be done properly as the future of this country is too important to allow this type of corruption to ever happen again.
No matter if Sessions is working on this or not, the criminals who did this need to be exposed and pay for their abuse of power. The only elixir for the taking of individual rights is the light of truth. Once the light is shone on the spying and coup attempt are exposed then the country can heal and our blindfolded Lady can have her scales back in balance.
Pray for America

Morning AB, All. As always, thank you AB for doing this thread so reliably and keeping the peace with gentle thread policing. Thank you Bray for weekly written wisdom, Thank all yon contributors for excellent commentary to flesh it all out.
Below are the words from my daily political diary. It is quite long so scroll on by if not interested. But do stay around and add your commentary and point of view to the thread.
There’s not much else going on the news this week save the monster Florence about to hit us.
And trust that with me living in Delaware, it’s not like I am up on safe and secure ground.
President Trump was interviewed regarding this hurricane and the first thing the fake news ask him is if the Carolinas will suffer as badly as Puerto Rico.
Trump explained that Puerto Rico was an island and as such all supplies had to be brought in by boat.
Can’t they give that man credit for anything?
As Rush Limbaugh said today, watch these fake news guys. They are going to make Florence his Katrina.
Remember how they blamed Dubya Bush for everything?
And how much Dubya defended himself?
NOT!
Keep calm and hang on.
His name is Professor Bird and he teaches at the College of Southern Nevada.
On August 28, early in the morning he shot himself in the arm in protest of President Donald J. Trump.
Heh.
Better he should have shot himself in his head. I mean how dumb is this?
HE NEVER SAID THAT!!!
The claim originated from an edited video clip used by California Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris. Harris clip showed Kavanaugh stating, Filling out the form would make [Priests for Life] complicit in the provision of the abortion-inducing drugs that they were as a religious matter, objected to.
Kavanaughs full statement, however, was, They said filling out the form would make them complicit in the provision of the abortion-inducing drugs that they were, as a religious matter, objecting to.
This woman was almost our President.
Thursday Date-9/13/18
It’s a hurricane weekend coming up. The Carolinas now have landfall from Florence. Fox has reporters all over the place, all of them getting wet with debris flying all around.
Some interesting things about hurricanes, something I know a little about for living on the Chesapeake Bay and now in Delaware.
First, that “category” thing is very misleading. The category, beginning as a 1 and up to a 5 ..indicates the miles the wind is blowing.
But a hurricane brings in, and causes more damage, with other elements besides wind. Rain, and subsequent flooding, does the most damage and kills the most people. Also, the storm surge sweeps water in from the sea and too causes much damage.
At a cat1, Florence was bringing in winds at 90mph. Do you know how awful winds blowing at 90mph can be? I once drove over the Chesapeake Bay-Bridge tunnel and there was warning that the wind was gusting at 45 mph, consider whether to drive over or not.
I was driving the Jeep Liberty, a big sturdy car, but it was swaying awful with 45 mph winds.
So there’s over 3 feet of rain expected from Florence, and a huge, huge storm surge.
As of this writing it just made landfall. Prayers to everyone in its path.
Now let’s discuss this Puerto Rico lie and the traitorous Republicans who denied it all.
First, some book store or another that no one ever heard of reported that there were, get this, 3,000 deaths during the two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico over a year ago.
THERE WAS NOT!
And President Trump is rightfully asserting the same thing.
I paid attention to all of those hurricanes, the one that hit Houston and those that tore through Puerto Rico.
Like Trump says, when he left after his post-hurricane visit, death toll was around 18 to 26.
Where the hell they getting 3,000? And, come on, exactly 3,0000? What are the odds?
So Marco Rubio comes out in public and he says he verifies the 3,000 total. Then, get this, that awful Speaker of the House who will soon be gone, comes out in public and asks what difference does it make how many people perished.
Hey, ya lousy Republicans with air between the legs, you think they might just be making up some big death toll to make Trump look bad?
He handled three big hurricanes at the beginning of his presidency and he did a good job.
And three of his colleagues come out and deny it.
The Republican party thinks everyone should be like Dubya Bush, who never defended himself ..ever .and who will forever be blamed for Hurricane Katrina.
Those Republicans who betray have got to go.
And, of course, the media never verified a thing.
So poor Paul Manafort is pleading. His biggest crime was working for President Trump. Below the list of his crimes:
1)Going on Offense- Ukraine Action Plan for Europe and U.S. June 25, 2012 (pg 39)
2) Launch of Public Affairs Plan February 20, 2010 (pg 44)
3) U.S. Government Activity February 4, 2013 (pg 52)
4) Hapsburg Update February 21, 2013 (pg 56)
5) U.S. Consultants- Quarterly Report April 22, 2013 (pg 59)
6) Hapsburg Activities Update and URGENT ACTION REQUEST February 24, 2013 (pg 63)
7)Protnov- U.S. Visit February 26, 2013 (pg 65)
8)U.S. Consultants Activity - Weekly Update April 21, 2013 (pg 67)
9)AG Trip Report June 9, 2013 (pg 70)
10) Hapsburg and US July 10, 2013 (pg 76)
It’s been going on since I can remember, this categorizing of hurricanes by a Saffir-Simpson scale. This scale is based on wind speed only but as we all know by now, hurricanes do more damage with rain and storm surges than the wind.
Which is not to say wind speeds of over a hundred aren’t something to mind, but rain and storm surge has to be made part of the categorization.
First, set a standard for estimated rainfall from an incoming storm. Don’t know how to do this but they sure were able estimate rainfall amounts from Florence.
Second, estimate a storm surge. Again, don’t know how to do it but they told us over and over again Florience would surge at 12 feet.
Finally, add the Saffir-Simpson wind speed estimate.
Now all three damage and danger categories delivered by a hurricane will have an estimate. If there’s a low wind speed, but huge rainfall amounts expected, this would make a SSS category one possibly a category three by adding in the rainfall and storm surge estimates.
Well hey, not to dwell on this for I am not a weather expert.
But there’s got to be a better system.
On an editorial note ..
.how about that John Kerry?
Goes overseas and betrays his country, not that this is the first time. A horrible, horrible man, telling our enemies the Iranians to wait out our lawfully elected president, Donald Trump.
Then he gets on TV and acts like an asshole because TRUMP CAUGHT HIM!!!! But he mocks Trump as if doing the job YOU were elected to do was somehow a bad thing.
Can’t stand the man but I know when he dies there will be a funeral lasting a week, Trump and family will for sure not be invited, he will be sung about and praised as if a King.
This country is all messed up.
wind velocity is measured in miles per hour, not miles
...eh....whatever.
Thanks.
Thankful to follow former Hurricane Florence from a safe distance.
The left continues to put FEMA director Brock Long front and center of their hit parade. They can't wait a week for the flood waters to recede. Storm response is secondary to their political attacks.
Otherwise, Bob Woodward, Major Garrett, et al are peddling their books this week on the Sunday talk shows.

Highlights During this semiannual reporting period, the Office of Audit issued 56 products. The office also identified $130,668 in monetary benefits.
Work by the Office of Investigations resulted in 33 arrests, 35 indictments, and 21 convictions. Some of our more significant results for the period are described below:
Independent public accounting firms, working under contracts with and supervised by of our Office of Audit, issued unmodified opinions on the Department of the TreasuryÂs (Treasury) consolidated financial statements and the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration CouncilÂs financial statements for fiscal year 2017.
ï· TreasuryÂs Office of Budget and Travel potentially violated the Antideficiency Act by disbursing more than the Departmental OfficeÂs available fund balance with Treasury; incurring obligations and expenditures prior to the respective reimbursable agreements being signed; and using fiscal year 2016 funds for fiscal year 2015 costs related to reimbursable services provided to Departmental Office customers. ï·
Two funds in Arkansas Seed and Angel Capital Network venture capital program, New Road Ventures, LLC and Virtual Incubation Company Investor Network, misused a total of $130,668 of State Small Business Credit Initiative funds on four investments because the investments were in violation of conflict of interest rules in place at the time they were made. ï·
Our joint investigation with Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigations, revealed a repeat offender involved in a sovereign citizen scheme who opened a bank account and attempted to deposit a fictitious $300 million ÂIndemnity Bond purported to be a valid instrument issued by Treasury. The suspect was indicted for Fictitious Obligations. ï·
Our investigation revealed the theft of $37 million in Treasury checks from the U.S. Postal Service. The checks were stolen by contract employees, hired by the post office. To date, the investigation has identified 24 subjects. Two arrest warrants and a search warrant have been executed. ï·
Our investigation determined that a former Office of the Comptroller of the Currency Bank Examiner and two co-conspirators engaged in a scheme to defraud a movie financing company. The Vice President of a bank, a former Bank Examiner, used his position to assist two subjects with stealing $2.5 million from the company by depositing funds into escrow accounts. The three subjects were sentenced from 30 weekends to 30 months in prison, 12 to 36 months of probation, and to a total of more than $1.5 million in restitution, forfeiture, and fines.

Here's more stuff Stealth Jeff is doing, hes hammering activist judges long overdue.
(2) "Sadly, weÂve even seen activist judges try to stand in the way of the entire Executive Branch of the United States."
(3) "Judges have been issuing an increasing number of orders that block the entire United States government from enforcing a law or policy. In the first 175 years of this Republic, not a single judge issued one of these orders."
(4) "Since President Trump took office less than two years ago, he has been hit with 25 of these nationwide orders."
(5) "The Department of JusticeÂunder Democratic and Republican administrations alikeÂhas been consistent for decades that nationwide injunctions gravely threaten the rule of law."
(6) "It is not the duty of the courts to manage this government or to pass judgment on or give final approval for every policy action the Executive Branch takes. The Executive Branch manages the government. And the President is the head of the executive branch. Get over it."
(7) "And so thatÂs why today I am announcing that I have issued litigation guidelines to assist our Department attorneys in fighting unconstitutional orders.
WeÂre going to fight them all the way to the Supreme Court."
Hmmm..... this post does not comply with the antisessions groupthink
There are several signs that it isn't. The latest important sign is that Bruce Ohr testified under oath that he has NOT been questioned by either Mueller or Huber. This means that Ohr is either so deeply involved that he will be one of the first to fry, or conversely, that his involvement has gone unnoticed. The latter meaning that the investigation is quite superficial.
Another important fact is the involvement of Rosenstein. By all measurements, he is an important member of the Obama corruption cabal. Yet he is clearly directly involved in leading stonewalling the release of important evidence, and in directing important personnel. It's difficult to see how an investigation of corruption could proceed properly with him blocking the paths.
Nevertheless, your proposal seems quite possible. Sessions is not a fool. His important work in other areas of the DOJ is quite impressive. It is important to leave no stone unturned if the DOJ is to prove guilt at the upper levels of the Obama administration. While not fun to watch, the current investigation against president Trump is absolute proof that no one is exempt from investigation, and so will be good evidence that similar investigations against Obama and Hillary should not be dismissed as simply politically motivated attacks.
Have been thinking same for quite a while now.
Hi back!
I’ll be in Tampa on Monday. Then over to Orlando on Friday for the week. Not vacationing, all work.
Noticed that LBJ’s lover, Doris Kearns Goodwin, is on MTP.
No doubt F. Chuck Todd will ask her, “as a renowned, respected scholar on presidents, just how bad a president has Trump been so far?”
On August 28, early in the morning he shot himself in the arm in protest of President Donald J. Trump.
Heh.
Better he should have shot himself in his head. I mean how dumb is this?
Right to keep and bear arms, yer doin' it wrong. ;-)
(I mean, shooting yourself in the arm is hardly a way to preserve the arm...and then the risk of 'harm to self or others' is likely to result in him losing his arms, too. ...which means by shooting himself in the arm, he shot himself in the foot.)
Thanks for continuing to post, always entertaining even to those of us who mostly lurk on this thread.
The Left has completely "forgotten" how this statement was the way they saw things up until Jan 19th, 2017.
Sessions’ work requires the skills of a surgeon with all of the deep state lifers infesting the DOJ. Think of it as a cancer needing a multi-prong approach to remove the malignant spread.
The DOJ and FBI are so corrupt that they are incapable of investigating themselves. This isnt about dirty cops. It is about an attempted coup and treason. Hundreds at least are involved. And the cabal extends across many agencies including the Obama WH.
Safe travels to and through our Sunshine State. If you have an extra few hours, let me know. Perhaps we can scheme a quick get-together.
Devin Nunes hasn’t been on Morning Futures for a while..maybe we will learn something new
