My pet theory: Feinstein planned to blackmail a future sitting SC Justice with this letter.

I think we will find that the letter was accidentally released.

Feinstein sat on this and kept it private for her own future benefit, but it got messed up and released.

(Im one of those that thinks Roberts is being blackmailed.)

Kavanaugh has already made an emphatic statement. He doesn’t need to appear if she won’t. In fact, he shouldn’t. Bad optics. He has said he’s willing to show up - that’s enough.

That will happen. I know some disagree, but I think the smart move is to give this clown till Monday to show up. If she doesn’t, the R’s can legitimately make the case they gave her every opportunity to come forward.

It was a frivolous accusation about a town in one state. It’s not the FBI’s job to investigate that. Let the local sheriff do it, if he wants to waste his time.

It doesn't warrant wasting the sheriff's time either. Pure heresy with no supporting evidence, witnesses that dispute, and long past the statute of limitations for any crime that could have possibly occurred.

This whole thing is just part of the orchestrated plan they put in place from the time Justice Kennedy announced his retirement. In fact, probably the shell of the plan was already put together long before this. They had it planned out how each thing would drop from the interruptions from Senators not even allowing Grassley to get started on his opening statement, the disruptors they added to the gallery, etc. and now this released on the eve of the committee vote. Feinstein had this letter from the beginning, and in lengthy meetings and conversations with Judge Kavanaugh never mentioned or address it with him, Grassley, the President, McConnell - no one. There is absolutely no decency in that kind of behavior. If this were legitimate it should have and would have been addressed at the very beginning of the process - Judge Kavanaugh, the President, Chairman Grassley, McConnell, etc. would have discussed the matter and then Kavanaugh and the President could have decided if they wanted to even go forward with the nomination or withdraw and nominate someone else. But no - that was not the point. The point was to gin this up and deliberately conceal it after the nomination was made, conceal it from the FBI and Committee Chairman during the background investigation, interviews and meeting with Senators, conceal it all through the hearings which occurred 2 months later, conceal it after the hearings, conceal from the initial hearing where the vote was delayed for a week, and then drop it days before the Committee vote to try to throw off the nomination and prevent the vacancy from being filled at all - putting Kavanaugh and his family through all of this anguish is just collateral damage to achieve a political goal. They don’t like that he is a constitutionalist, and therefore, he must be completely destroyed by any means necessary. Now we learn the polygraph she had was taken a month ago - just further evidence this was being orchestrated in the background and kept on ice, and now she and her lawyer are parroting the same talking points about needing to complete an FBI investigation before the process can go forward with the sole intent of preventing it from every going forward.

This is one of the worst things we have ever seen in the history of American politics...and that’s saying something.

The Constitution says that the accused may face the accuser. The reason for this is very simple; It’s much harder for someone to tell a lie about someone else to their face. She’s had thirty five years and a career in psychiatry to learn how to deal with her anguish. Makes you wonder how she would counsel a patient who had claimed a sexual assault.

"Feinstein also tweeted that she considered Ford to be "sincere" and "believable." "

Yeah, well, not so true of Quality-Beer-Mug.

Lock her up until she can prove that she and her husband are not guilty of graft and corruption.

She should probably be defeated in California...the argument against that is that she wasn’t as big a nutcase as her opponent, but she has proven that isn’t the case. The only way to punish her is with voting her out of office...unless you think there is a chance the GOP candidate for governor can win and would appoint her replacement in the event she had to step down prior to the end of her next term.

Sedition or democrat overthrow of democracy are serious charges. I think the 150 million business owners executed by the communist/democrats should have some offsets like the communists shot in front of a ditch. Maybe it is just me, but an evil leftist rotting in hell is justice to me.

Monday? If Ford is not going to show up, the vote should be the day after tomorrow—just as it was supposed to be.

Her lawyer doesn’t call the shots; the FBI has already decided not to conduct an investigation and there’s no reason they should. The lawyer’s full of BS. But I’ve posted elsewhere that Ford is no longer involved, it’s all the Soros lawyers and other D operatives who are directing the circus on that side.

“DiFi should be booted from the Senate. But she won’t be.”

She will be booted. But sadly, it will be by a hard core socialist not a moderate. But, I’ve lost interest in California. It can fall off into the ocean for all I care. The sooner the better....
