I don't believe they are slipping the knife in on anyone. I think the Repubs would prefer to slash their wrists with the knife instead. Even perennial wet noodles Flake and Corker said to move forward with a vote if this lying, pink pussy hat wearing Marxist won't testify in person.

Why Grassley chooses to provide her with a closed door alternative is beyond my understanding. But then, I'm not a spineless jellyfish. The only thing I can think of is that Grassley has to appease the most stupid Republican in the Senate, Susan Collins.
