No, they don’t, but their tactics appear to have boosted Trump’s approvals by around 8-10 points if you look at before and after polling on RCP. To compare apples to apples, Reuters 9/5-9/11 was 43 to 56 with a 13 point negative spread. Reuters 9/12-9/18 was 47 to 52 with a 5 point negative spread.

A successful confirmation of Kavanaugh will suppress their turn out.
If the democrats really want to draw this out their stooge could make an announcement on Monday that she is willing to testify thereby delaying the vote for another week or so. This would give them more time to trot out more metoo accusers.
I wouldn’t put it past them to find some kid that Kavanaugh coached to come out and make some equally unfounded accusation.
The dems really want their pound of flesh for McConnell’s cheating them out of a SCOTUS justice. Besides, it would be a twofer. Punish someone who helped impeach Clinton inc. for sexual perversions.
