A federal judge sentenced Joseph Percoco, the former right-hand man to Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo, to six years in prison Thursday for accepting more than $320,000 in bribes from businessmen looking to buy state influence.
"The motive for this crime was greed and arrogance," Judge Valerie Caproni told Percoco at the sentencing in the Thurgood Marshall U.S. Courthouse in lower Manhattan.

I wonder how much bribery of government officials is conducted by way of using BitCoin and other crytocurrencies?
If the drug kings use Bitcoin to launder, then it would be as likely that corrupt politicians would also avail themselves.

In my 50 years of studying NY politics, Andy [son of Mario] is by far the leading contender for ‘New York pretender’ Award: he was the second in Command for La Famiglia Cuomo - Underboss - and then became second to steal a (Mafiosi rigged) gubernatorial election for Famiglia Cuomo!

Mr. Cuomo never once campaigned in the 2018 NY primary on his record as governor. Maybe because there is none. His campaign ads were all about how was working to protect the state .............................. from “Trump”.
Those ads continue today and will likely run all the way into the general election.
Like his father before him, he is good at one thing - talking; nothing else. The Cuomos are the “Wizard of Oz” political family of New York - everything is done behind the scenese with the levers spewing out smoke and mirrors.
