I understand there is no SOL on sex crimes in Maryland.
That may be true, but remember they were both juveniles at the time and subject to the jurisdiction of juvenile court. So while there may not be a SOL for an adult, the adjudication in Juvenile Court may be different.
She would have to give a specific date and time for the alleged “feel.” My guess is he could prove he was somewhere else. That’s why she wanted him to testify first.
If you look at the definitions they have listed I do not think this case would be an assault. There was not skin touched or intercourse.
I think he touched her buttons but no clothes came off I don’t think who knows.
