I'm sure they are thinking up other ways to delay the vote until after the midterm election...and if they succeed in blocking Kavanaugh, the Supreme Court will stay at 8 until the end of Trump's first term, unless someone dies or retires.
It would probably be easy to prove that she is lying about being afraid to fly, but she doesn't have to drive--she could take Amtrak.
