That’s why she’s demanding no lawyers question her.

3 supposed witnesses named by Ford have all denied being there, or knowing them.

Sorry about the Vanity too -I don’t post them often, but thought this would be a better spot than Medium to post a blog style article about this subject!

More, she couldn’t breath from her nose? And why didn’t she warn her friends at the time to stay away from the horn dog?

Someone forgot a question. Why did she go upstairs to the bedroom?

This thing’s an op. Start to finish. A DS op. Ford’s dad was/is apparently a CIA black budget paymaster, too.

That's very well-written, but I could have captured it without all that detail:

1. Christine Ford makes a serious allegation against Kavanaugh -- not in a police report or a sworn statement, but in a letter to a Senator and an interview with the Washington Post.

2. She immediately demands to "be heard" by the U.S. Senate.

3. Kavanaugh denies the allegation and states that he'll testify in his defense anytime, and anywhere.

4. Christine Buzzy Ford quickly hires a team of lawyers who immediately begin demanding conditions for her testimony -- including an FBI investigation of a matter 36+ years ago where she is the only one making the allegation.

5. She also demands to have Kavanaugh testify first -- but she won't file a formal sworn statement so he knows what he's supposed to testify ABOUT.

5. Nearly one week after she "demanded to be heard," we still haven't heard from her. We don't even know what she looks like.

Even Maxine Waters and Hank Johnson are smart enough to know that she has zero credibility here.

Unfortunately the hippies and liberalism brought an era of sex and drugs. The Reagan revolution did much to recover from this but much is still needed.

Now date rape is a serious crime and should be treated as such. But from what I understand even if this were to be true she protested and he left. If the person meant to rape her the opportunity was there. No rape, and no attempt of a rape by whoever.

On the constant delays. The begging the Senate has been performing to get her under oath has been sickening. Either they don’t have the votes which I doubt since there would be a back lash of Republican voters or they have some evidence and they want her under oath.

I am thinking they have something on her and we will have to just be patient.

I appreciate the post and the intelligence behind it, but dissecting this accusation is like dissecting Star Wars for validity. It’s all fiction. It’s “Jerry Springer”.

One question I would like asked of her is the length this attack lasted. From the sound of what she described it was minutes totaling under 30. It sounds as if it were a clumsy attempt that failed to even a successful disrobe the victim. Now I am not saying that this might have caused trauma, but not trauma that lasts more than a few days if that long. That trauma would soon be replaced with anger, at least I think that would be the case in most instances. That anger would compel most to vent that anger among their closest friends. Since the attempted molestation was basically unsuccessful, there would be even very little if any shame that the victim would experience. So yes, she is embellishing her experience if she even had an experience like she described at all.

There are some women who embody qualities that are so beautiful, so loving, giving, and captivating, that we men can't help but hold them up on a pedestal, despite ourselves. And there are others who are nothing but lying filthy stinking whores, wallowing in their own filth. There are of course, infinite varieties in between.

The problem is that the Left, for decades, has been trying to convince all women to be whores, to abandon their greatest feminine qualities in favor of their worst, but when those women are called out on their whoredom, the Left insists that all women are Madonnas. It is, perhaps, the only time that the Left even conceives of women as virtuous people. Otherwise, it is slutwalks and abortion rallies galore.

Fabulous post. You saw quite a few important things that I completely missed. I casually dismissed the locked door and loud music as irrelevant fabrications, but you are completely correct on their significance.

What an awesome essay !! I wish all vanities were this well written and insightful! Thank you! There is much I would like to write, but it is very late for me. That said...

I too am around the same age as you, Brett, and Dr. Ford. But I grew up in the Midwest. While our parties and social events probably had a distinctly different ambience than soirees on the coasts, there are many situations I witnessed and was the victim of, which I wish I could blot from my history and mind.

People forget, or maybe don’t acknowledge, that many men have had there own #metoo moments. I’m NOT going to go into it - so no worries there - but despite the hush-hush nature of such things when they happen to guys, I did always confide what happened to someone - my brother. I kind of don’t buy the idea of not telling anyone at the time or within a year or so of the event. Teenage years are a time of openness and expression. Considering there was no blood, no actual violence and no nakedness, it surprises me she never discussed it with anyone.

And that brings me to one aspect of this story that strikes me as odd. In any other #metoo moment recollections I can think of - including my own - there is some aspect of the experience that is shameful. There is something you were or you did that repulses you and makes it hard to share with others. In Dr. Ford’s story, there is none of that. She did nothing embarrassing. Was never naked, or disrobed, or exposed. In fact, she had 2 layers of clothes on - a bathing suit and regular clothes !!! She is, psychologically speaking, wrapped in figurative armor. Maybe I am thinking about it the wrong way. But, on the other hand, if you set about to concoct a story specifically to make someone else look bad, a story that wasn’t true, you would be inclined not to include in your invention something almost universally true of reality - a detail embarrassing to yourself.

Excellent point by point analysis of the charges, the possible scene scenario, and psychological issues pertaining to “victim/witness” recall after so many decades.

However, we must remember that OJ got off because the prosecutors screwed up on a bloody glove, so anything is possible.

And lastly, all I will say to Ford’s supporters, “Hey Stupids - you believed Tawana Brawley and her con-artist pimp, Al Sharpton”.

Greetings from a fellow Seattlite.

"Sorry about the Vanity"

Don't be. This is the one of the more detailed analysis of Ford's claims yet. You've explained how her story and actions don't add up and are created to build a narrative better than anyone else. The comments on this thread are good too.
