I know Ms. Ford doesn’t remember, but it stands to reason that it didn’t take place at the homes of any of the four witnesses, right?

I’m wondering if we are missing a piece of her story. I mean, she’s not claiming that they were at a home where none of the owners/occupants were present, is she?

The Scalia clerk’s story makes the most sense—even if he did backpeddle. The owner was present—not Kavanaugh.

This is a good one. She says she was attacked and traumatized for life but she says there was a female friend of hers there (which has been unreported) and Ford has downplayed that because this friend wouldn't have noticed a supposedly traumatized friend fleeing a room as something notable?

Just doesn't work out. First, she's pre-emptively explaining why the only witness on the scene will not know anything happened. Which is fishy. And second, it doesn't even make sense that her demeanor after the event (if it went as she claimed) would be nonchalant enough that a friend would notice nothing amiss.

If Blasey was distraught, wouldn't some of her state of mind have been communicated to Keyser? Wouldn't Keyser feel something of what Blasey was going through? If it was such a major event wouldn't its after-effects have been present and perceptible in whatever interaction the two girls had?

For that matter, couldn't something of the boys' emotional state have communicated itself to Keyser as well? And if it is two boys and two girls, was it some kind of double date then?

Blasey Ford is rather slighting of the other girl's memory and perceptiveness. She's the one who has trouble remembering when and where the event happened (if it did happen). Maybe Keyser was more present and observant.

Minor stylistic point: saying "other men" confused me as to whether Keyser was a man or a woman. That could easily have been avoided.

The answer is the story is being kept vague and confusing so Kavanaugh can't defend himself.

It keeps people from discussing facts, because the facts were never clearly presented and keep changing over time.

This is the exact same thing that happened to Roy Moore.
