I don’t see it that way. Look, we are all just as troubled with Trump’s inaction to fire DOJ people as part of his drain the swamp promise. Grassley and Trump, I believe, are simply giving them enough rope to make sure they hang themselves. There is an old expression that revenge is a dish best served cold. When this Ford thing blows up - AND IT WILL - The demoKKKrats will have dug a huge hole that they won’t be able to get out of. Of course, they will claim that Ford duped them, but honest dems will see through that.

No, he is not. He doesn’t have the damned votes!! If you want to place blame, throw it at the feet of Flake, Collins and the other squish RINOs.
No, Flake is on the committee and his vote will be needed to send the recommendation to confirm Kavanaugh to the Senate.
Flake, Collins, Corker, and Murkowsky have hijacked the process. Grassley and the GOP can only afford to lose one vote to get Kavanaugh confirmed. Don't blame Grassley.
