My siblings would do the same.
Of 7 of us, 3 are conservative. There is only one liberal left alive. He knows he’s outnumbered, so he doesn’t mention politics. (We still get together for dinner once in awhile.)
Dad changed parties in mid-60’s and those 4 just didn’t get the message...

My FiL was the only conservative in his family. He left a business that’s now doing $500 million a year. His siblings scratched out a living farming or working as union tradespeople and left nothing! All of them hated Republicans!
You can pick your friends. You can pick your nose. But one is stuck with family...
