If the Dems do throw Ellison under the bus it will only be because they have to in order to dodge the hypocrite charge.
They are now aware that Ellison’s opponent, Doug Wardlow, is tied with Ellison at 41%. This is in spite of the fact that Wardlow is still not well known particularly in outstate MN.
Perhaps the Democrats feel that Ellison is cooked already, so what’s the harm in going against him now and pretending to be concerned about Ellison abusing his girl friends.
