If I had to guess, he’s seeing and hearing people get angry about the Democrat antics here. Something like only 25% of women believed Ford, and the numbers are likely even lower for the rest of the accusers -— it’s also clear to me that this is firing up the GOP voters

this is happening across the board to the never trump crowd, in the end logic will prevail. It’s not that they like Trump now, but they also understand that if they allow this sort of circus to proceed, the left has won.
