Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas dismantled the argument against confirming Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court by systematically evaluating the evidence that was presented to the Senate Judiciary Committee in a way that would be done in a court of law.
“How do the American people resolve the discrepancy when you have two witnesses that testify to things diametrically opposed?” Cruz asked Friday in front of the committee, acknowledging the conflict in testimony between Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct more than 35 years ago. “Well, the only way I know to — and this is how a court of law operates, this is how most reasonable people operate — is when you have conflicting testimony you look to what does the rest of the evidence demonstrate.”(continued)

here is why Chrissy Ford is a liar and nobody has caught it.. It’s a no brainer.. she is NOT credible and it’s about the party.. she said in her testimony that
“There were four boys I remember being there: Brett Kavanaugh, Mark Judge, P.J. Smyth, and one other boy whose name I cannot recall,” Ford said in her prepared remarks. “I remember my friend Leland Ingham attending.”
and the reason according to Ford that her good friend Leland Ingham denied under oath being at that party was??
“Leland would not remember this unremarkable party. It was not one of their more notorious parties, because nothing remarkable happened to them that evening.”
see that’s a big lie that she has to say to make her story seem at the tiniest bit plausible and everybody bought it.. but there is a huge hole in that scenario..
if Ford is telling the truth about the attempted rape and leaving the scene then there certainly was a Remarkable event that night Leland could never forget and it blows Ford’s story right out of the water
the ONLY other girl at that party other than Leland Ingham was Ford and they were good friends,, and Ford (according to her testimony) without warning and like a flash DISAPPEARED from that party and NEVER returned,, not a goodbye, see you later or an adios to her friend Leland Ingham
Ford left Leland Ingham at that party all alone with four drunk boys including TWO at least who she said had already tried to rape her
now who believes in a million years that if that had actually happened Leland Ingham wouldn’t have looked and asked high and low all over that house where her good friend Chrissy Blasey had gone? ,, there is your remarkable moment that would have made it impossible for Leland Ingham to forget what happened that night..
POW! that blows Ford’s story into oblivion.. and that means Bret Kavanaugh is telling truth and everybody else who denied being at that party Ford insisted everyone was at are telling the truth,, that makes FORD the liar
that right there puts to rest the total BS that NOTHING remarkable happened to Leland Ingham that night and that’s the reason she had no memory of being at that party
not only that is there ANYBODY with a brain cell who doesn’t pretty much KNOW the very next time those friends spoke to one another that the first thing out of Leland Ingham’s mouth to Ford would have been ‘where the heck did you run off to the other night and leave me all alone with those guys” or something similar to that?.. but according to Ford Leland Ingham never brought it up.. yeah right...BOOM

Another discrepancy is the car. The house with the party was several miles from her house, so someone had to drive her there. She testified that she left the party alone, so her driver was not attending the party. Was it a chauffer waiting for her? Unlikely since she says she doesn’t remember who drove her. In the days before cell phones, it would have been difficult to make alternate arrangements of “I know I said to pick me up at 10:00 but can you come earlier?” And did no one notice her standing around outside the party waiting to be picked up?
Exactly. Yet, no one challenged Ford on that point.
Did Mitchell ever ask, “Why did you leave your friend behind, alone with those boys, two of whom had just assaulted you?”
Honestly asking here... did Mitchell ask that question? If she did, I didn’t hear it.
They barely challenged Ford’s story at all.
her first line of safety was her friend downstairs and instead she ran out the door into the Twilight Zone never to be discussed again for over 30 years,, absolutely impossible that her friend would not have remembered that night if Ford’s story is correct.. either Ford is lying or Leland Ingham is lying.. it is impossible for both to be telling the truth.. if Ford is lying(which we just proved that she is) then Brett Kavanaugh is innocent
that should be very easy for the FBI to figure out.. I already did.. it’s so easy to figure out a caveman could do it.. but yet not one of those Senators could figure it out

Finally, in a most non-empathetic fashion, Ford sought to refute the contradictory testimony of her close friend Leland Ingham Keyser (whose attorney had unequivocally stated, “Simply put, Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford”) — in a manner that had anyone employed the same trope against Ford herself, he would have shamed as a condescending slanderer.Ford, albeit gently, sought to refute Keyser’s contradiction of her assault narrative by essentially claiming that Keyser was now ill and had needed help even to make a statement, and therefore apparently was non compos mentis: “Leland has significant health challenges and I’m happy that she’s focusing on herself and getting the health treatment that she needs, and she let me know that she needed her lawyer to take care of this for her and she texted me right afterward with an apology and good wishes and et cetera.” In other words, Keyser was supposedly not able to weigh in herself, according to Ford, due to alleged health issues. So she relied on her lawyer to report her testimony — but, according to Ford, Ford alone was privately assured that the ensuing official statement was apparently now inaccurate and therefore had earned Ford an rightful apology.

People are giving Ford’ accusation more attention than it deserves. She never saw Kavanaugh before or after this so called grope session...but she remembers who it was 36 years later...eye witness testimony after the fact is unreliable, but a 36 year old memory? Insane.

Thank goodness she had her prepared statement to read regarding these allegations. But even then, needed help from her staff jumping in to clarify things for her.
Discrepancy? She was allegedly almost raped. Then ran out of the house when she could get away, straight past her girlfriend, without even saying Goodbye, let alone, “You need to get the hell out of here or you might be raped, too!”

I don't think she'd bring it up at all. Because if her friend were raped, and she said, "Yeah, they tried that with me too; but I got out of the house and didn't warn you!" it wouldn't go over too well, IMO.
