I am a cancer survivor, and I am cancer-free. I can assure you that dealing with cancer is 1000 times more intense and scary as looking for a husband. The fear, the unknown, the doctor visits, surgeries, treatments-these stop your life as you know it and consume nearly every waking thought you have. There is nothing scarier and more intense than this.Cancer survivor here, too. I don't think there's anything like going through the diagnosis, the surgery, the chemotherapy, the fear...
Very glad to hear you're cancer free; me too, fellow survivor.
And I know EXACTLY what you mean about being around other extremely ill cancer patients. It's scary.
