It is not Amazon’s fault that their competitors have slimmer profit margins.

It becomes a problem when a huge corporation or group of corporations get in bed with government and that is exactly what appears to be going on here. Amazon can pay whatever they want but as soon as they start attempting to manipulate government policy then they are crossing the line. When a huge corporation gets in bed with government you have planted the seeds of fascism. It's already happening and this Amazon wage hike/social policy move is an obvious fascist tactic.
