If McCarthy wasn’t worried about wanting to be speaker this would have never come up. He is from what once was a solid red district that is turning purple due to illegal immigration. Believe me he’s scared of peeving them off. I liv in his district nd it has turned to crap due to illegal immigration and gangs.
If he believed that the Dems would have the House comes November, he wouldn’t be worried about being Speaker. The Kavanaugh victory and poll advances emboldens him to worry about being speaker, rather than worrying about p!ssing off illegal immigrants and their supporters.
