Red wave update: Very little polling data out of MT, but with all the other races trending in the right direction, this is an encouraging sign. Say what you will about McConnell, but he wouldn’t go in there without a good reason and $1M is not chump change in Montana.

I’ll be shocked if the MT seat stays Democrat. If not for the deeply negative coattails of McCain it would never have gone D in the first place.

I’ve seen several articles referring to Leader McConnell directing funds to different Senatorial campaigns but not a peep from the Speaker of the House Ryan in support of House races. Guess he’s already out the door literally and figuritively. More likely he’s trying to slow down the Trump train at the behest of his backers i.e. Chamber of Commerce, Wall Street and the Koch brothers.
