Not every aircraft is rated flight-worthy. Could be they were grounded for maintenance or not enough qualified pilots to fly them out. Or places prepared to accept them. Possibly they are safe and sound under reinforced hanger roofs at Tyndall. If any were damaged...would we even hear about it???
There’s a youtube video taken from a helicopter overflight of the area...you can see the damaged aircraft through the huge holes in the hangers roofs. One of the display jets was flipped over. Devastating damage.
Somebody posted a drone video that had an overflight of the flightline/hangar area. There appeared to be at least 1 hangar that had the roof partially torn off and what appeared to be several aircraft inside. The ones that were most visible did not appear to be F-22’s although there were others that were partially obstructed by debris.
There are pictures of F-22s upside down.
