It's the basis for cooperation from the peasantry when gathering the information needed to do their jobs.
If it's shown that this confidential information is NOT secure, then the reason for "voluntary cooperation" is gone.
That's when the jobs of IRS agents and Census takers get REAL dangerous...

Seems to me Sharyl would be a useful addition to the President’s team, unless she’s unacceptable for some reason that has escaped my attention.
I don’t care about tax returns unless someone is accused of crime. BUT Trump said several time sin his campaign he would release his taxes after the audit. If the audit is over, he has not lived up top his word.
J like Sharyl but she messed up off the bat...Trumps first term ends in 2021.
