6-10 generations?!

The whole point if I recall, is she claimed Native American ancestry to claim special privileges.
6-10 generations back is laughable in light of claiming those special privileges.

-—One ancestor, 6 to 10 generations back (which doesn’t strike me as very precise), would contribute between about 1.5% and about 0.1% of a person’s DNA.——

So I guess she really is The One Percent.

Here’s the ACTUAL TEST RESULTS

https://mk0elizabethwarh5ore.kinstacdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/Bustamante_Report_2018.pdf

According to this she is AT LEAST 95% European ancestry and they don’t actually state the amount of Native American but has to scramble back SIX to TEN generations to find it!

Six generations: 1.6%

Ten generations: 0.1%

Which tribe? Eligible for registry? There are legal standards for association and she clearly doesn’t come close. May as well say she got a splinter from a cigar-store Indian!

Exactly. Until I see an independent person take the swab, put in the test tube and send it off for analysis, with an alias, I ain’t believing sh*t. Probably had a staffer, whose great great great great great great great grandmothers aunt, on her fathers side donate the sample.

Six generations is 1/64, about 1.4%. Ten generations is 1/1024, about 0.1%. I grew up near a reservation in Minnesota. There people had to prove they were 1/8 Indian (12.5%) to get reservation benefits.

You know what would be fun?

It would be fun if President Trump took the same kind of test and showed he had 5X her level of Native American Injun Redskin blood.

The exact percentage would depend on the number of Native American ancestors contributed to the DNA pool. That said, I had Ancestry.com do my DNA check. The relatively small pool of people from whom they or anyone else can derive a current estimate of the percentages and an undergraduate knowledge of statistics can easily be used to demonstrate that nearly any answer is possible.

It's like asking a lawyer for a correct answer to a math problem. The reply is likely to be "What do you want 2+2 to equal?"

Her story was always that her grandpa married and Indian around the turn of the century and it was quite the scandal at the time. This proves that story is not true.

Funny, I don’t see what % she is, isn’t that standard on these analyses? 1%, 2%, what’s the true number.

One ancestor 6 generations back would be ~1.5%. One ancestor 10 generations back is about 0.1%.

So...how does this qualify her for a “diversity” faculty
slot at Harvard?

“The Boston Globe followed the Herald with a report that the Association of American Law Schools listed Warren as a minority law teacher each year from 1986 to 1994. In that time, Warren went from being a law professor at the University of Texas, to the University of Pennsylvania, and finally in 1995 to Harvard University.”

“Less than 10% - is or may be considered to be ‘Genetic Drift & Flow’ (most common in Anglo-American’s or Muricans, And/or, just Ancestry “DNA background noise” “

My sister had this done. She is always looking for an excuse for her addiction to tobacco and food. No genetic predisposition to that.

But she was perplexed why we were more Italian and Scandinavian that our Scot “heritage.”

Our ancestors got raped by the Vikings and the Romans. I think I need a FBI investigation.

I warned everyone not to hang their hat on a DNA test.

First, the test can be faked.

Second, the test is unreliable. Identical twins often have different backgrounds or sending the same sample to multiple labs yields different results.

Socialists will lie and cheat to win. That is what Warren did.

Elizabeth Warren made the specific claim that she was 1/32 native American, which is 5 generations back.

https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2012/05/elizabeth-warren-says-shes-1-32-native-american-how-many-people-have-that-heritage.html

Even taking the this test at face value, it says 6-10 generations back.

She just proudly proclaimed that she’s a liar.
