US citizen or not, as a palestinian he knew that selling property to a Jew is a capital crime in areas ruled by the Palestinian Authority and the Kingdom of Jordan. Capital crime. Not a criticism of his action at all, but he knew the risks. Politically, wrong time, the PA will try to blackmail Trump with this. But then the media, the left, they will understand this.
