Were the devices actually capable of detonation? What explosive was used in the device?

Notice the DOJ, and the clown media, are parsing all their words carefully to avoid telling the truth There was a bomb threat, there was zero danger.

This sounds like some road side flares stuffed in a pipe with some wires and a digital clock attached. Not a real bomb but just something made to look like a bomb.

Standard Bureaucratic BS. Want to make this look more serious then it actually is so they can posture for the cameras. If they told the truth this story would be a big nothing.

You may right. But why go to all the trouble to make fake bombs when he could have simply mailed pieces of PVC pipes with notes attached saying “This could have been the real deal”.
