President Trump on Sunday evening called Brazilian president-elect Jair Bolsonaro to congratulate him on his win.
Trump and Bolsonaro told one another that they are looking forward to working "side-by-side" as "regional leaders of the Americas," White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement.
Bolsonaro, the controversial right-wing populist who has been nicknamed "Trump of the Tropics," won 55.1 percent of the vote with 99 percent voting by Sunday evening in the U.S.

Gosh I thought what I heard was the trap range west of my house. Seemed strange because I live in Idaho. Must have been the left libtards heads exploding. ROTFLMAO. MBGA. Heeheee bet he and POTUS enjoyed their talk.
First came the Tea Party, then BREXIT, the change wave continued with Trump, now Merkle is losing the German government to the right, Brazil elects the Trump of Tropics and in 9 days America will continue what the Tea Party started 10 years ago. Elitism will officially die next Tuesday. The change isn’t just here in America but worldwide.
Don’t forget Italy elected its Trump in Salvini, Austria also elected a right wing government, Hungary has Orban, who is as strong as it gets, other eastern European countries are firmly on the right and even Sweden came very close to electing a right winger.
There may be hope for the West yet.

Well, it’s certainly preposterous that Trump would congratulate someone the left doesn’t like for winning a presidential election. He should have demanded a recount, instead. Only leftists should be allowed to win elections. Maybe the UN should get involved.
We’ll see how “right wing” he is. He’s not in favor of privatization of state industries, such as Petrobras, or devolution national power to the states. He does have conservative economic advisors.
