I see the catch.
If you’re an outta state resident but you want to hunt AND vote in North Dakota, it could cost you your license cuz you’ll be in jail for illegal voting.
Where’s my prize?
The message does state that only North Dakota residents can vote there, a thought which I'm surprised to see expressed by any Democrat-affiliated group.
However, it goes on to warn *resident* (presumably legal) voters that voting this year could cause the loss of out-of-state licenses in *other* states, which is absurd. How would North Dakota be able to control the fish & game agencies in other states?
Exactly right, RM, and I have your free HEIDI GOES DOWN!, HEIDI GOES DOWN! t-shirt waiting for you at the front desk.
I don’t know about non-resident voting in North Dakota, but obtaining out-of-state game licenses has always been tricky.
Plus so many of these guys are young men, working 60 or 80 hours a week, living in campers or apartments or in the company-suppied trailers, and I can imagine a fair portion of them simply skipping the extra paper work.
The mailing obviously was designed to spook even those who HAVE done some paperwork, but now will be left to wonder if they did it all right.
Dirty tricks...likely it’ll only help Cramer.
