Takes 3/4 ths of the states to ratify an amendment. Do you honestly believe that 38 states would vote for any of these amendments favored by the right? All of the blue states wouldn’t and they’d try to propose amendments cancelling things like the 2d amendment. Or, they would take up Obama’s stance that the constitution ought to guarantee things like universal health care, a living wage, open borders.

I know that America came to its senses in 2016. I am hopeful of the Tuesday outcome. I know that America responds to PDJT, and am further hopeful that he leads the effort to a COS.

Just as we didn’t dive into tyranny immediately after passage of the 17A, it will take probably decades to turn around our horrid condition. The first reasonable task is to show that a COS will not runaway. Let the civics lessons begin!

The Left has corrupted just about all standing institutions. It has had less luck with the federal electoral college, and I doubt they’ll have any more success with a federal COS.
